The fully integrated model is the best option from a kitchen design perspective and gives you that hidden minimal and understated finish. The dishwasher is completely hidden behind a full height kitchen furniture door and thus indistinguishable from other cupboard doors. Only the horizontal handle along the top hints that there is a drop down door but if you opt for a recessed grip rail handle system (a hidden strip along the top of each door that enables it to be opened without a handle) the effect is even less obvious. Some high-end luxury appliance brands have also introduced a self-opening dishwasher which enables a completely handless kitchen design when combined with touch opening on all the other kitchen units.
Thumbs up for fuzzy. Dishwashers that feature 'fuzzy logic' - check the full feature list for your machine of choice - will provide a more economical cycle than those that don't. Dishes generally come out cleaner with the added bonus of a more efficient use of water and electricity. Fuzzy logic machines may cost more than those without the feature but when you consider the long-term costs plumping for a cheap and cheerful dishwasher can often be a false economy.
In addition to a fully integrated we have the semi integrated slimline dishwasher. The difference between a fully integrated and semi integrated is where are controls located. Controls of fully integrated dishwasher are on the top door with inside side while at the semi integrated dishwasher control is located on the top with front side doors and visible from outside.
